During the summer of 2002

In the summer of 2002, Logan, an almost-two year old boy enjoyed his first visit to Garratt's Islands. His Mommy and Daddy joined him, and they had lots of fun. Logan's parents took a lot of pictures during their time at camp, and Logan would like to share them with you.

Every donation to GIFrT helps kids like Logan get away to this secluded place where they can enjoy nature, and the wonders of summer camp.

Logan and his Daddy arriving at camp. A friendly counselor welcomes them.	This is the boat that Logan got to ride on to get to the Islands.
The boat took all the kids over to the dunes of Sandbanks Provincial Park to play in the sand and swim.	The dunes were huge! The water was great!
Logan and his Daddy caught a Sunfish. They threw it back in when they were finished looking at it.	Logan's "special friend" showed him where the frogs live. They even caught a few.
There were snakes there too. They were very little, and couldn't hurt little kids. Especially when their Daddy's were holding them.	Getting around is pretty easy on the island.
A refreshing dip in the "kiddie pool" is just what the kids needed in the afternoon.	There are lots of fun toys to play with.
This was a pretty cool to hang-out and relax with a good book.	Activities are never hard to come by at the Island. There's always something to do.
Let's see how high we can go!	What a great day, but Logan is pretty sleepy. He bunks down in his bed in the cottage for the night. Another great day awaits him at the Island tomorrow.
